StoneGuard is a protection film that is specifically designed for porous stone surfaces. It is available for both honed finished stone as well as polished finished stone. It is a 5 mils thick clear polyethylene film that incorporates heat and chemical resistant technology. How is StoneGuard® different from other sealers?

Sealers are a form of liquid chemical that requires reapplication every 6 months. In reality, test have proven sealers offer little protective capabilities from acidic chemicals such as wine, lime, or coffee. StoneGuard® on the other hand has a nano-technology coating that protects the stone from scratches, dings, staining, etching, growth of bacteria and burn marks from excessive heat.

Will it get damaged over time?

ShieldX™ that we applied on the surface as StoneGuard® its Nano construction will resist excess heat and acidic or other chemical products and save your stone countertop from stain. In addition, it can tolerate up to 300°(F) heat.
